About the Competition

Cobras new look JUNIOR SUMMER FOOTBALL will return in 2021 will run from September to December with a separate preseason comp in the new year

This FUN and FRIENDLY 12-week competition is affiliated with Football NSW, and will run as follows:

WHEN:

Friday afternoons: 17^th September (Subject to Covid restrictions) – 10th December

WHERE:

Mt Ku-ring gai Oval

WHO CAN PLAY:

Open to all ages from Under 6’s – Under 14’s (mixed, girls), regardless of experience.

ALL new players welcome!

Games will be played between 4:30 and 7pm

GAME FORMAT:

Summer Football games are small-sided games played on small fields to encourage skill acquisition and practice outside of the main Winter season.  Game formats are consistent with Football NSW and Football Federation Australia regulations, as shown below:

*We recommend having at least 2 subs in each team.  There is no limit as to the number of players in each team.

Once Game Times are final (closer to the start of the competition) they will be published on the summer comp webpage

PLAYER REGISTRATION

All players in the Cobras Summer Football competition must be registered to become insured.

Registration fee will be $120 which includes a playing shirt (to keep)

The $100 Active Kids voucher can be applied to the Junior player fees below to reduce registration.

TEAM REGISTRATION

TEAM Registration will open on the 1st of August – visit the TEAM Registration page.

The Cobras Summer Football is a social competition and is structured to encourage players to form their own team amongst their friends, winter teammates, social and other sporting groups.

Once you’re in a team, complete your PLAYER registration (this will open when team registrations are completed)

If you do not have a team to join (or cannot form your own team) we will set up an online form so that we can help you find a team.
