2024 Supplementary Annual General Meeting
At the 2024 AGM the club constitution was updated to have the financial year end on 31 December of each calendar year. This change to the financial year requires that the Club holds an AGM within 3 months on the end of the financial year.
Our 2024 Supplementary AGM (covering the financial period 1 August 2024 to 31 December 2024) will be held at the stadium on Wednesday, 5th March 2025 at 7.00pm.
Attached is the Agenda that includes the proposed amendments to the Constitution in the Notice of AGM.
This is a small administrative change to the club rule to acknowledge the shift to online registration.
Financial reports that are to be presented at the 2024 Supplementary AGM will be available on the bendigotabletennis.org.au Members/Players Dashboard when they login to the website.
Nominations remain open for the 2025 committee. Nominations need to be submitted to the Secretary by 26th February 2025. Completed nominations are also able to left with the Grade Supervisors at the Stadium Office.
If only one nomination is received by 26th February 2025 that nomination will win the position nominated. If multiple nominations are received and election will be held at the AGM. Any vacant positions (i.e. no nominations) will be open to nominations that arrive after the 26th February 2025 or from people present on the night of the AGM. Under our Club rules you cannot nominate for a position that has been filled or an election is to be held.
We need to have a quorum of players from all grades attend this meeting to enable the club to complete its legal requirements.
All positions on the committee are declared vacant at the AGM. Under the Club rules all existing Committee are eligible to re-nominate. If anyone is interested in standing for the committee, could they please complete the nomination form.
Note it is a requirement that all nominees for the Committee be:-
- 18 years old at the time of the AGM.
- Apply for and obtain a WWCC
