If You've never sailed before this course is for you. No experience needed at all.This course has been set up FOR women and TAUGHT BY women in line with the She Sails BYC initiative to promote women in sailing. 

You'll learn the basics the basics and by the end of the course you'll be able to tie the correct knots, understand the terminology and how to rig up a yacht in readiness for sailing.

We'll get onto the water as quickly as possible and show you how to trim sails.

Our instructors are the most experienced in Hobart,  and our boat is perfect for showing you the basics.

Course Overview

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a keelboat. Learn the basics, whilst staying relatively dry! All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

You will gain your Start Crewing completion certificate.
