BYC is looking for adults to join our experienced Race Management Team in the BYC Tower on a voluntary basis during the sailing season.
The Tower is the onshore base for all on water operations at BYC, working with the Rescue Boats on the water to provide a safe, efficient and informed sailing environment for all participants.
With a commanding 180 degree view of the racing area, access to live weather data from the local area and around the state, and constant contact to the Rescue Boats on the water via radio, the Tower is a vital part of the structure of organised sailing.
Race Management is a dynamic, challenging environment which requires good teamwork and communication across several locations.
