Brisbane Bayside Pickleball Club is an incorporated association governed by a passionate committee of volunteers who love the game of pickleball.
These passionate founding members created the club to promote and grow this fantastic sport throughout the bayside suburbs of Brisbane.
Club History:
- Brisbane Bayside Pickleball Club was Incorporated on 19 September 2023 with founding members Chris Warner, Greg Ryan, Jean Warren, Brian Krisanski, Cynthia Krisanski, Andy Tompkins, Wendy Tompkins, Paul Harper, Corrine Harper, Kerrie Ryan, Janice Smith, Patrick Bryden, Tracey Daken, and Jason Smith.
- Our club was affiliated with Pickleball Association of Queensland on Thursday 14 September 2023.
- Our first official Club pickleball venue and session was held on Thursday 5th October 2023 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Wellington Point Tennis Courts located at 373 Birkdale Road, Wellington Point, Queensland, 4160
- We quickly expanded to include a new venue at Iona College, Wynnum West 85 North Road, Lindum QLD 4178 playing on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
- As of June 2024, we now run pickleball sessions 6 days of the week - Mondays at Wellington Point, Tuesdays at Sheldon Tennis Courts, Wednesdays at Iona, Thursdays at Wellington Point, Saturday mornings at Victoria Point State High School and Sundays at Cleveland State School.
