Route

Ride south from Concord to Oatley Park via Milperra Parklands and the Georges River. A side visit is possible to the Velodrome if the gates are open. Return a different way. Ride includes a lookout at Oatley Park to across the Georges River past Como, and a visit to  Oatley Castle within the park. 

Ride is suited to riders who are used to doing similar long distances. Riders should be comfortable undertaking a number of short hills. Also riding on a mix of quiet streets and shared paths, but also passing through shopping strip streets and slightly busier roads.

Sunday has a strong possibility of rain, and likewise the days before hand. There is no desire to ride in the rain and a wet weather call would be made as per the summary table above.
