A moderately hilly loop, starting in Five Dock and going first to North Ryde via Gladesville Bridge and Boronia Park. From Epping Road we sweep down Delhi Rd to LCNP, then follow the river through the park, emerging at Macquarie then taking Shrimpton's Creek path, up through Marsfield and then to Epping. From there it's back to Five Dock via Eastwood, West Ryde, Meadowbank and Concord, with a stop for coffee en route. Total distance of about 46km with about 500m elevation. 

The route is largely on road, shared paths and on-road cycle paths and as noted, has some moderate hills, so the ride is suited to experienced cyclists. The average speed will be circa 20 km/h with a pace of around 25 km/h.

Numbers are limited to a maximum of 12 riders. Please bring water, spare tube and pump.

The forecast for Sunday predicts rain, and in the event of cancellation, an email will be sent by 6:30am advising.
