Starting at Five Dock Park, First Avenue, opposite Domremy College, the ride will head west to North Strathfield Station, across Parramatta Road to then follow the train line into Redfern.  From Redfern the ride will head out to Glebe and the Anzac Bridge before returning to Five Dock.  A morning tea stop will be taken along the route if we can find a café that is open.  Please bring your own snacks in case we cannot find a cafe.

The ride takes us past 13 train stations - North Strathfield, Homebush, Strathfield, Burwood, Croydon, Ashfield, Summer Hill, Lewisham, Petersham, Stanmore, Newtown, Erskineville and Redfern - and along 3 pop-up bike lanes.

The ride is graded medium and the intention is to stay on the road as much as possible.  The total distance is around 36 km with an expected average speed of 18 km/h.  We expect to set a pace in the low 20’s km/h where conditions allow.
