Welcome To Bathurst Athletics Club 2024/2025 season!
- Bathurst Athletics Club offers competition from Tiny Tots (3-4 year olds) though to Masters events. To see which class of membership will suit you best, please refer to the table below.
- Athletics nights are from Tiny Tots though till U20s and runs from 5.00 pm at Morse Park on Moday evenings commencing Week 1 of term 4.
- 1st night of club competition will be Monday 14th October 2024 and continue until Monday the 16th December 2024 where we will break for Christmas. 🎅 Post Christmas competition will recommence on Monday 27th January and conclude on Monday March 24th.
- Bathurst also plans to offer community membership and open athletes the opportunity to compete on alternate Mondays.
- Tot's have their uniforms and Tots Coordinators included in their club rego fees.
- At least one parent or carer is required to stay on site each club night for athletes aged 16 and younger. Regardless of whether or not this is your first involvement as an Athletics parent, it is always worthwhile, at the start of each season, to consider what your role will be over the next six months or so.
- Because Athletics is a voluntary organisation that is labour intensive, centres cannot operate without the assistance of families each week in fulfilling the many and varied duties required. These include officiating at an event, marshalling your child, recording or measuring, behaviour management. Additionally, we are strict around this due to our venue. As you may be aware, Morse Park is an unfenced park, bordering the Mitchell Highway with the Tesla Chargers, lots of traffic and non-athletics people with access to our club nights.
- We require at least one adult per family present for the duration. We can’t be everywhere at once and for safety reasons, this is, and has been our policy both from roads and traffic point of view and for child protection reasons.
