The Bankstown Winter Milers meet is a night of distance track running for runners and joggers of all ages and abilities – bringing together elite athletes with recreational runners and joggers in a welcoming environment with events for everyone.
The meet will be held at The Crest on Thursday, 24 June 2021 and the will feature an evening of graded 5,000m races, where you will be organised into races with runners of similar abilities.
ENTRIES
Entries are available on this page at the entry fee is $20 per event. You do not need to be a member of BSAC or ANSW to enter this event, nor do you need to log in to complete the entry form. Entries will close at 12pm on the Monday prior to the meet and no late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
DATE, TIMETABLE & LOCATION
This meet will take place on Thursday 24 June at The Crest Athletics Track, located at McLean Street, Georges Hall.
The event will run from approximately 7:30pm to approximately 9:00pm. The final timetable will be provided following the close of entries, however the fastest 5km race will be held at the end of the night.
Please check-in no less than 30 minutes prior to your event. Please note that you are responsible for being at the start area at least 10 minutes prior to your event.
COMMUNITY TRACKRUN
The Community 5km Trackrun event is a perfect opportunity for recreational runners and joggers to try running on a track for the first time in a supporting and welcoming environment, or for those who have experienced track running before to chase a personal best time.
We welcome and encourage all recreational runners and joggers and their families to come down to an engaging and welcoming environment and participate in a fantastic event, before sticking around for something to eat and drink while watching some of the best athletes Australia has to offer go toe to toe trackside at The Crest.
PERMIT STATUS
Performances at the event will be recognised for international qualification purposes and the meet will be run under AA permit conditions.
UNIFORMS & BIBS
Athletes must wear club or squad uniform. No race bibs are required to be worn and hip numbers will be provided on the night at the start area. If you are a recreational runner who is not a member of a club, we encourage you to run in any gear that represents any running group or squad that you may be a part of.

COVID-19 & SPECTATORS
The event will be conducted in a COVID-safe manner and all athletes and spectators will be required to sign in to the venue via a QR code on arrival. All athletes and spectators are encouraged to exercise social distancing and other COVID-safe practices within the venue at all times in accordance with Government guidelines.
Spectators will be permitted to attend the venue. These protocols are subject to change should there be any shifting in the NSW COVID-19 environment.
