When Covid gives your lemons...head out on camp!

Sadly, (because 2020) there will be no Taree Regatta this year... :(

In lieu of this regatta, the BRC team have pulled together a  THREE DAY TRAINING CAMP for members in double quick time.

• Who can come - everyone! All are welcome, especially those new to the club. Juniors must be accompanied by a parent or nominated adult. Partners and families welcome of course.
• Why shoud you come? To polish your technique, make your boat go faster and enjoy the company of your fellow club members! Maybe even plan the business end of your racing season?
• The dates - January 8 to 10, 2021. Boat loading for the camp will be in the afternoon of January 7.
• The venue - Berry Park, near Maitland. We are being hosted by Newcastle Uni Boat Club, with support from Hunter Valley Grammar School. Check out the photo for the oh so smooth water on the Hunter River.
• The coaches - Zoe Matthews, SIan Brown and Owen Nix will be joining us to help you polish your technique. Look out for a few special guest coaches - watch this space!
• What you can expect - Two sessions of rowing each day, from 6 am to midday. Breakfast in the middle, and the afternoon to explore the Hunter Valley, head to the beach or relax in the shade.
• Where to stay: There is unpowered camping on site and bathroom & kitchenette facilties are available. There is also accomodation available in Maitland, East Maitland & Morpeth.  Bookings.com AIr BNB or Stayz all have placed to stay close by.
• The cost - $150 per person to cover the venue, loaned equipment & camp expenses. 
• The support - we need assistance with trailer driving to and from the camp - please yell out if you can help with this.
• The deadline - Register before December 24th. We have both minimum and maximum numbers so please register quickly! :)
