Registrations for this event are not currently available.

To commemorate our Balmain Rowing club’s oarsmen who answered the Empire’s call to arms during WWI, we will be holding an Anzac memorial dawn row on Thursday 25th April.  All members are invited.

Crews will leave BRC pontoon before dawn, assembling at White Horse Point for a short service and laying of eleven floral tributes in honour of our oarsmen who made the supreme sacrifice. In keeping with the Anzac spirit, bag pipes will be played from White Horse Point as crews row out, and following the service as the crews proceed with the memorial row down Iron Cove.

An Anzac breakfast will be provided on the club balcony for everyone on return. There will also be readings of 100 year old letters written by BRC members from the Front.

There will be a launch available for non rowing guest, seats are limited so booking early is necessary.

Please register your availability to be part of a crew or for a seat in the launch for guest through the RSVP link above.
