To our Balmain Rowing Club members, friends, family and supporters

This year we are once again holding a big season kick-off celebration at our spiritual home Dick's Hotel!

Dick's are back on board as our principal sponsor for season 2017-18 and to celebrate they have helped us keep the cost of food for the event down to a ridiculously low $10 if you are hungry.  

Which - duh! - you will be...  especially if you rowed head of the Nepean in the morning.

One of the things all members want is more opportunities to socialise and get together away from training and the water.  The club is growing so social events like this are a great way of knowing everyone from all the different squads.

To all our new members, this is a great chance to meet a huge cross-section of our old and new tigers.  And for old-hands, please pop in and say hi to your new fellow oarsmen and oarswomen (oarsepeople?)...

Now last year we did a drink on arrival which was OK but a bit on the mild side.. SO this year we are pulling out all the stops.

Basically, if you RSVP you will getting $25 worth of delicious food for just $10, saving you $15.  The food will be premium, substantial canapes.

The only catch is, we need to pre-order as a club by Monday.

Whether you are coming alone or bringing friend(s) - please register.  It helps us make sure we have enough food there and we can plan for the day.

To recap, you get the choice of are 2 types of ticket 

• FREE - "not hungry" so don't cater for me or my friends.  (I can still buy food from the restaurant but it won't be the bargain of the century at just $10 each)
• $10 canapes TIGER DEAL - "hungry" - yes please I'd love to be fed lots of delicious canapes please (Save me $15 each ticket on regular canape costs)
