Selectors: Up to three (3) selectors appointed by the Board of Management

Requirements and Information

• Must be a member of Badminton WA.
• A Working with Children Check is required.
• Choose and arrange method to run Trials.   This should be discussed with and agreed to by the Board of Management or its representative.
• Attend tournaments and trials to observe players.

• Run trials in a fair and equal way.
• Collate the results from the trials.  Results from Badminton WA tournaments and Team events may also be considered.
• A Selector must understand the need for discretion around players and team selection.
• Recommend team to the Board of Management with documentation to support the decisions made.
• Retain results for at least 3 months after the trials.
• The team coach is usually a selector, but this may not always be possible (a family member may be a nominee).
• The Selection Trial has been scheduled on the 22nd July 2023 at Kingsway Indoor Stadium. 
  
  Note: The Badminton WA Board may seek further applications after the Nomination Period has closed.
