Many of the duties or functions are undertaken in conjunction/consultation with the HP Manager and/or Executive Officer.
- Must have a current Working with Children Check
- Book Accommodation (Can be done before team is announced and once team numbers are known).
- Collect contracts and health record documents from coaches, managers, players, drivers and umpires.
- Organise Uniforms: collect sizes for supplier. Shirts, Shorts and tracksuits.
- Arrange printing of shirts.
- Set up communication platform for players, parents, coaches, HP Manager and managers.
- Book Practice courts in WA for 8-10 training sessions.
- Follow up on outstanding money.
- Advise parents on travel dates, times, flight information, luggage, ID, Uniform requirements for travel and accommodation address.
- Fund Raising: set up ways raise funds, receive monies, bank money, communicate with the office regarding sponsorship and donations. Note: all fundraising activities must be undertaken in line with Badminton WA requirements and guidelines
- Supply bank details to parents for fund raising.
- Book practice courts at the event venue.
- Collect travel cards.
- Work closely with and support the team coach both prior to and during the Championships
Please note: The Badminton WA board may seek further applications after the nomination period has closed. Non-parents are welcome to apply.
