Badminton Victoria (BV) is excited to announce the Badminton Victoria Performance Committee has selected the initial 2024 Victorian Country Badminton Squad. The final team selections will be made after two training sessions at Maribyrnong College on Tuesday, July 16th, and Wednesday, July 24th. The teams will then be announced and expected to compete in the U/13 and U/17 categories for Victoria Country, playing in the Victorian Team’s tournament at MSAC on the 3^rd and 4^th of August.

"It's an exciting time for badminton in regional Victoria. We truly believe in our pathway and know that, in time, we will find our next Michael Scandolera or Jacob Schueler. Jacob and Michael come from humble beginnings in Ocean Grove (Geelong) and Labertouche (Gippsland)," shared Clint Proctor, BV CEO.

The players to be selected in the initial Victorian Country Badminton Squad are as follows:
