2021 Badminton Victoria Para Badminton Championships

2021 Junior Circuit 5 - U17 Silver and U13 Silver 

Please note that the Junior Circuit 5 - U19 and U15 Silver events will take place at WSBA Altona on 11-12 December. Please refer here for more details.

 

 

Event Schedule:

Saturday   4 December   Open up to semi-finals / U17 up to semi-finals
Sunday     5 December   Open - semis and finals / U17 - semis and finals / Para - all events / U13 - all events
Where a draw has 8 or less entries, its matches will be played on Sunday (Open only).

Open and Junior Circuit U17 and U13 Silver - Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Para; WH 1 & 2, SL 3 & 4, SU 5, SS 6 - Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles

Multiple Entry Information

Players can enter a maximum of 3 events/disciplines across multiple age groups and can only enter into one singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles event (e.g. singles in U17, doubles and mixed doubles in Open, Doubles and Mixed Doubles in U13 and SIngles in U17)

Prize Money:

Open events prize money:

Singles - $400 per winner, $200 runner-up, $100 per semi-finalist

Doubles/Mixed - $400 per winning pair, $200 per runner-up pair. $100 per semi-finalist pair

Entry numbers may be capped. If entries exceed capacity the last entries received will be withdrawn and a full refund given.

Grading Policy:

Please note that gradings will be based on the Australian National Rankings as at 23 March 2020

Vaccination Requirements

All players, coaches, guardians, and spectators 16 and over must be able to provide proof of being fully vaccinated or a valid medical exemption as specified by the Victorian state government. Entry into the venue will be denied to anyone who cannot show proof. If there is any change to this before the tournament we will advise you as soon as possible.

Important information about your player ID

It's very important that you use the correct ID number when you enter any BV sanctioned event through Tournament Software. Entries with the incorrect ID may be rejected.


If you already have a BWF Player ID  Number or an Australian National Player ID Number you must use that to enter this tournament. Please also ensure that your Tournament Software profile shows your correct ID.
To check if you already have an existing BWF Player ID  Number or an Australian National Player ID Number please refer to to the Badminton Australia National Player ID Number spreadsheet and follow these steps:
1. Download the Australian National Player ID Number spreadsheet linked below
2. Open the correct page for your state
3. Search for your name
4. If your name appears take note of the Member ID number 
5. Update your Tournament Software profile. You must always use this number for entering Badminton Victoria sanctioned events.

If you have an existing BWF Player ID  Number or an Australian National Player ID Number do not use your Revolutionise  BV ID number.


If you do not have an existing BWF Player ID  Number or an Australian National Player ID Number please use your Revolutionise BV ID Number. 
Before the start of the tournament, an Australian National Player ID Number will be allocated to you and this must be used for all future tournaments.
