Special General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting (SGM) of Badminton Victoria will be held on Sunday, 28 November 2021 at 10.00 am.
The meeting will be conducted on Zoom (Online Meeting).
Online registration for all attendees is mandatory. Please complete registrations for Delegates and Observers using the 'Register' button to the left. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the meeting to everyone who has registered.
Agenda
1) The items of business as approved by the Badminton Victoria Board are listed below.
2) Business – the business of the SGM shall be:
2.1 Appointment of the Auditor to Association:
2.2 Proposed amendments to the Badminton Victoria Constitution
2.3 Proposed 2022 – 2025 Membership Model and voting rights
Voting
3) Voting – Only one voting delegate from each eligible member is able to vote. Any other Badminton Victoria member can register to attend the SGM as an observer.
Member Forum
4) Member Forum to be held following the close of the SGM. More details about this will be sent out with the agenda papers.
Questions
5) Questions from voting members are welcome. We encourage members to submit questions in writing to Tjitte (TJ) Weistra at least seven days prior to the SGM at tjitte.weistra@badmintonvic.com.au
Questions received will be included in the discussion following the close of the SGM.
Agenda and Papers
An agenda and papers will be available to voting and eligible members on 7th of November 2021.
Registration Deadline
Registration must be completed before COB on the 19th of November 2021.
