We are excited to host the 2024 Atalanta Jamboree in Melbourne.

Celebrating 40 Years!

EVENT DATES
13th October, Sunday - Individual Ladies Doubles Championships
14th October, Monday - Welcome followed by Round 1 of the Australasian Teams Championships
19th October, Saturday - Teams Championships Finals & the End of Event Social Function

VENUE
The Championships will be held at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC).
Address: 30 Aughtie Drive, Albert Park, VIC.

Sir Albert Cafe is located inside MSAC for food & drinks. There are plenty of cafes & restaurants along Clarendon Street, only a 5 minute drive from MSAC

By Tram - There are two convenient tram routes: Route 96 (East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach) – Stop 129 and Route 12 (City to South Melbourne/St Kilda) – Stop 131.

Entry form has been sent to the Associations/Club contacts provided to the Australasian Ladies Badminton Association (ALBA).
Please contact your association or club, as eligibility criteria apply.

ELIGIBILITY (See below for Regulations document)
3.1 Competitors in either Team or Individual events must be bona fide members of a ladies-only daytime or night-time club or association competition, or ladies' social club who will have completed the equivalent of: one full season of the competition match play in the twelve months immediately preceding the tournament, or have been a regular bonafide attendee at a social ladies badminton group.   
3.2 Where no regular ladies' competition or social ladies' badminton exists, the ALBA committee may grant exemptions from the eligibility clause. Requests for exemption to be submitted in the first instance to the host association committee in the State or Region where the player/s reside and subject to their ratification, the request shall then be forwarded for consideration by the ALBA in General meeting.

SOCIAL FUNCTION - DINE AT THE MCG
The final night event will be hosted at the AFL Dining Room located inside the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
An iconic Melbourne landmark where sporting history meets unforgettable memories. The AFL Dining Room’s floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the playing turf, the surrounding sports precinct, the Melbourne Art Centre spire and the CBD skyline.

Entertainment by The Cover Council.

Cost: $120 per person includes a 3-course meal. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.

MCG Tour: Before the party starts you have the option to sign up for the MCG Tour. Immerse yourself in the history and world-class facilities of the MCG, as you go behind the scenes on a 60-minute guided tour. Gain an insight into Melbourne's sporting culture as you hear from our proud MCC volunteers, walk along the boundary line of the hallowed arena and experience where legends play.
