BWF Level 1 Coaching Course
Coaches who wish to register for this course will be required to attend both weekends (27/28 July & 21/22 September) and should have a previous coaching qualification (e.g. Badminton Australia Foundation Course), significant coaching experience or a background as a high-performance player.
Upon completion of the course, candidates will become an internationally recognised accredited BWF Level 1 Coach. Accreditation permits the coach to coach at state level and in club, community, school and private sectors.
By registering for this course, you are not automatically accepted, BA reserves the right to cancel registrations if the pre-requisites for the course have not been met. Upon acceptance into the course, BA will issue an invoice which needs to be paid in full prior to the commencement of the course to guarantee a spot on the course.

*Affiliated Members based in Regional Victoria or Interstate, can apply to BA for a travel subsidy upon acceptance into the course. The maximum subsidy available is $100 for Regional Victoria based coaches and $250 for Interstate based coaches.

Badminton Australia registration fee (charged at time of registering your qualification if you successfully complete the BWF Level 1 Course). If you are already a registered coach with Badminton Australia, then this fee will not be charged until you re-register in 2025.
