This course is aimed at existing Para players or coaches who work in the disability space and includes the BWF Level 1 coaching course and BWF Disability. Para players are expected to be either actively engaged or seeking to engage in coaching badminton, whether to able bodied or persons with a disability.

The BWF Coach Education Level 1 is the first of the four levels in the Coach Education framework and is the most fundamental course for Badminton Coaches wanting to take the next step from the Badminton Australia Foundation Coaching level. This course will also include a new Level 1 module which addresses some specific areas of focus when coaching players with disabilities.

• Course cost includes accommodation and meals
• Participants will need to make their own airport transfer arrangements, noting that the venue is very close to Melbourne airport.
• There will be an option for interstate participants to request a $250 travel subsidy
• Due to limited space, unfortunately we cannot accommodate carers/support people
