It’s getting to that time of year again, when we elect a new committee. All positions will be declared vacant at the upcoming AGM.

Besides the executive positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer, we will also need a numer of general committee members. Extra tasking on the elected officials may be to run the beach competition, or the indoor competition, to manage the facebook page, to organise trainings or to carry the phone. Some of these tasks may be carried out by one person or may be shared by a group. Many hands make light work, so the more people on the committee, the less work for each individual. The elected officials don’t even have to be volleyball players, they can be parents, partners, friends, ex-players, or just someone with a keen interest.  Dedicated and passionate members please apply.

The committee must meet a minimum of three time in each 12 month period. More than this may be needed, but hopefully with more frequent meetings the duration of each meeting can be reduced (our last committee meeting went for approximately one hour).

As soon as a date is fixed for the Annual General Meeting, we will give at least three weeks' notice.
