Junior (<18) members $10

Membership not only provides you with insurance should you injure yourself whilst playing badminton with our club, but also our club with funds to ensure its continued operation. Membership is due once you attended the third night.

 You can complete your membership online at www.revolutionise.com.au/awba by selecting the membership tab. You can then pay by direct credit. If you are unable to do your membership online, please see Eva or Colleen for a membership form. We also accept cash payments.

TUESDAY NIGHT GAMES

We are currently trialling 2 rounds of computer-generated games based on individual player’s rankings. The first round is set to start at 7.45pm and there is a cut-off of 7.40pm. Only players who arrived by 7.40 will be included in the first round. A 5minute cut-off will also apply to round 2. If there are more players than court space, preference will be given to financial members. Before and after the 2 scheduled rounds players can play socially.

We would appreciate feedback, whether it be positive and negative, so that we can improve how Tuesday night play is organised. Please share your ideas with a committee member. This is your club too.

AUSTRALIAN VETERANS TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIPS  38^TH ANNUAL EVENT

Planning is underway for our 38^th tournament, to be held October 29^th & 30^th.

Teams consist of 4 men and 4 women, and grades range from A grade through to E Grade. To be eligible to play you need to be at least 35 years of age on the first day of the tournament, and a financial member of the club.

If you are interested and do not have a team, we will be looking for players to go on the fill ins list. These players are allocated to teams who are either short a player or who have a player pull out prior to the event. Preferably you need to be able to play all day, both days. Please see Colleen or Eva for more information or to register your interest.

How can You Help?

We are seeking businesses who can provide either financial sponsorship or donations that we can use in our raffle. If you own a business, or have a contact at business, that may be interested in being a sponsor please talk to Colleen or Eva. There will be a sponsorship letter and email available later this month that you can provide to any potential sponsor.

Please be mindful of other games still being played when moving between courts. For safety reasons please wait for a break in games, walk down the aisles and not across any courts.
