Course content:

Includes:

• The basics of sailing in dinghies ... to be done in ASC Pacers.
• Leaving and returning to the beach safely.
• How the sails work & setting them, balance, tacking, gybing, capsize (& recovery) including being towed.
• Knots & rope handling
• You will be getting wet!
• Driving support boats in polys and tinnies, maneuvering, anchoring, laying a mark & organising a tow.
• Wind/weather awareness and recognising how to stay safe.
