Blues Awards

In line with our parent affiliate, AUSF, AUTC provides Blues criteria for exceptional players, coaches, and officials from the club to be acknowledged for their outstanding achievements in the world of touch football.

Every year eligible individuals may be nominated by a club member for one of the following awards:

• Full Blue Award
• Half-Blue Award
• Club Letter (Service)
• Club Letter (Competition)
• Sporting Scholarships

The awards recognize exceptional achievements made by students and non-students alike that have made significant contributions to the club and the growth of touch football across the state or nation both on and off the field. The Club's award criteria is listed below. If you feel that you are eligible, please get in contact with the club by emailing autc83@gmail.com with the subject 'Blues Awards Eligibility - Your Name'

Individuals may be nominated in one of the two nomination rounds with an application to AUSF. These nomination applications are then assessed by the AUSF Blues Committee, who will evaluate the merit of the applications and assess the eligibility of individuals. Individuals who are eligible will be invited to attend a presentation ceremony held by AUSF. The ceremony is typically held in December at the National Wine Centre in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

Club of the Year

The club may also consider nomination for the AUSF Club of the Year (either >50 or <50 members). This award is also announced at the Blues Awards Ceremony. The club was successful at receiving this award in 2020, and continues to strive to provide our members with a rewarding experience.

Volunteer of the Year

Outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions at the club and/or administrative level may be nominated for the AUSF Volunteer of the Year (Student) or (Non-Student). The individual in question needs to show significant contributions throughout the year.

Sporting Scholarships

AUSF and The University of Adelaide offer a number of financial scholarships for elite athletes. AUTC can assist in applications and evidence for these applications if individuals wish to apply. Further information can be found here
