AU Sport Membership
When joining the Adelaide University Swimming Club, you automatically become an AUSport member. The AUSport membership fee for University of Adelaide students is usually $11 (including GST). The AUSport membership fee will be added automatically to our AUSwimming Club fee when you proceed to purchase for membership. Here is a list of AUSport fees according to category:
- Students enrolled at the University of Adelaide: $11
- University of Adelaide Staff: $71.50
- Alumni of the University of Adelaide: $71.50
- Juniors (Anyone under 18, not enrolled at the University of Adelaide): $38.50
- General public: $93.50
- Supporters (Non-swimmers who wish to maintain involvement, not enrolled at the University of Adelaide): $22
All AU Sport memberships are valid until 31 January of the following year.
Adelaide University Swimming Club Membership
Adelaide University Swimming Club membership is usually $50 for the whole year for everyone. Membership covers the cost of lane hire at the pool and all equipment maintenance. If you are not sure about purchasing membership as of yet, you can purchase a 'Trial/Temporary' membership for $20 which will last 30 days from the start of any month. For example if you buy your temporary membership on 1 September 2025, it will last you until 30 September 2025, afterwhich you would need to upgrade to the full membership.
If you cannot find a membership that would fit in your category, please send us an email to enquire. Membership expires on 31 January in the following year of purchase, in sync with AUSport Membership (e.g. if you bought an AUSwimming 2025 Membership, this means that this membership, as well as the AUSport membership, will expire on 31 January 2026). Please be aware of that when you proceed to purchase a membership, the AUSport fee and the AUSwimming fee will be added together automatically.
PLEASE NOTE: Only select "Returning member" if you have been given an AU Sport Member ID. You will need this in order to register for membership. If you have not registered for an AU Sport club previously or do not know your ID, please select new member.
Entry fees
After purchasing membership, you can come to any of our sessions at a cost of $6 per session. This covers the entry fee to the pool - you do not need to pay the pool staff at the door. You can purchase your entry on this page:
