The 2022 National Poomsae Team Selection

Contested Events

The 2022 Poomsae Selection Championships will comprise the following events:

• Individual
• Pairs
• Teams
• Freestyle

(Athletes may only enter two categories/events maximum)

General Information

• Entry - Athletes: $100 for one event & $55 for additional second event. Coaches: free. 
• Entries Open - 20th December 2021
• Entries Close - Midnight (AEST) 12th January 2022 (Late entries will not be accepted)
• Division List - 14th January - List published/Emailed to registered Coaches & Athletes
• Poomsae Draw - 16th January - Coach's meeting & Poomsae draw
• Division Draw - 17th January - Division Draw (Athlete draw)
• Video Upload Open - 18th January 00:01 AEST
• Video Upload Close - 26th January 23:59 AEST
• Video Link - Video Upload Links will be sent directly to the Athlete via email
• Information - Information on draws, updates, results etc will be sent directly to registered Athletes and Coaches: Note ensure you email information is correct on entry
• Entry Limitation - Maximum limit of entry into two to eligible divisions

Selection Requirements:

• Current AT registered member
• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Hold a valid Australian passport that will not expire for six months after the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships. (Attach proof)
• Must be a Kukkiwon Dan holder or have submitted an application for Kukkiwon Certification through AT as of the date of submitting their entry application to the Selection Event (Attach Proof)
• Proof of Covid Vaccination or Exemption (Attach ProProof of Covid Vaccination or Exemption (Attach Proof)
