The Adelaide Super-Drome is on the traditional Country of the Kaurna People. We respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs. We also pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and we extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.

Whether you’ve never ridden a bike on a velodrome or you want to get back into it, Friday Night Come & Try provides an open opportunity to ride on a world-class wooden track that’s fun, fast and safe, and is the same track used by the Australian Cycling Team!
Our aim is to provide you with a platform which gives you the confidence to progress in your cycling journey, along with like-minded participants. So, bring your colleagues, housemates, Uni-mates, family or just yourself.
Two Session format:
6:00pm-7:30pm: This session is an open, group session where participants can bring their own track bike or select a hire bike from our range, check over their setup with a coach, get some free time on the track and participate in a couple of individual timed drills. Walk-ins will be accepted, with fees payable in cash at the time of entry to the track infield.
7:30pm-8:30pm: (CURRENTLY NOT BEING DELIVERED DUE TO LACK OF RESOURCES) This session is designed to provide additional support to beginner para-cyclists, people with a physical or intellectual impairment, or simply those who are nervous or lack confidence about participating in the group session. This session's format will be determined by the individual needs of participants and may include stationary trainers, tandem track bikes, and/or modified or unmodified track bikes. There is no requirement to have a recognised impairment in order to take part in this second session, however able-bodied participants without additional needs are requested to enter the 6pm session to allow those using the 7:30pm session the additional attention from coaches they require. Bookings are essential for this session so that coaches can prepare. Please make note of any specific needs when booking this session.
