Hello friends, to keep up the momentum of beginner events we'll be running a hike in Cleland National Park!!
You will need to register to attend this event so we can gauge numbers :)
We'll start on Waterfall Gully Road because it is accessible by public transport - then Burnside Gully Track to get onto Sugarloaf Circuit, our main route. We take a little detour to the Long Ridge Lookout for a break with gorgeous city views alongside a snack/picnic/photo situation and then back on track to finish the loop and go back the same way.
We will meet outside unibar at 9:45am ~ leave uni at 10 ~ walk to Grenfell St and catch the
142 bus.
Estimated time is about 4 hours but depends on walking speed, how long we stop for lunch etc.
Difficulty: This is a beginner friendly hike, and a great way for new members to get to know other people in the club!
Needed for hikers: Decent shoes, sun protection, snacks, water
