Join us for a weekend of camping, bushwalking and relaxing in the Flinders Ranges.
This trip is totally beginner friendly, and you don't need to have any of your own camping gear to attend. I will also provide a packing list for attendees closer to the date :)
The basic itinerary is as follows:
Friday 26th July: meet at uni at 5pm, drive to Warren Gorge (4h) and setup camp.
Saturday 27th: relax at camp and slackline, and/or complete the 5km loop hike at Warren Gorge, Dutchman's stern or Devil's peak hikes.
Sunday 28th: Pack up camp and head back to Adelaide, hiking up Mt Brown or perhaps completing a short walk in Mt Remarkable NP.
Costs associated include camping fees ($18/vehicle/night, organised between people in each car) paid at entry to campsite and petrol fees paid to driver.
Gear Hire fee of $5 will apply if you need to borrow club camping equipment, such as sleeping bag/mat, tent or stove.
