This is an Expression of Interest only. Signing up to this does not guarantee you a spot for Waitpinga climbing.

That said, anyone can come to deep water soloing late on Saturday morning at Second Valley. Successful registrants will be added to a groupchat where we can further coordinate.

This Saturday we will be heading to Waitpinga Cliffs for some advanced climbing right by the sea - the temperature, winds, and tides are perfect for it.  It is in a remote location with a tough approach, so numbers of beginners we can take are very limited. The plan is to come down on Saturday morning with a quick optional stop at Backslappers Cove/Second Valley for some deep water soloing, which I highly recommend for those who haven't done it! We'll hike in, climb for three or so hours in the afternoon, and hike out before sunset to potentially have group dinner on the way back (some places on the way up do nice schnitzel).

Hurry, spaces are limited!

Costs Involved: $10 if you need to borrow climbing gear and then carpooling fuel costs
