Its the time to begin procrastinating study by planning our summer holidays and therefore its high time to sign up to our Summer Blue Mountains trip. This will give you the chance to drool at the stunning climbing/canyoning and hiking options available. This is an Expression of Interest only, which means that signing up does not guarantee you a spot on the final trip. 

So, the plan is:

Dates: 9th -21st December are the dates we have decided to run the official trip, however people will be floating around before/after most likely. However would be funnn to have everyone there for a certain amount of time to enjoy it all together :))

Accomodation: Megalong Valley Free Campsite (see pics below). Free camp with stunnning views and easy access to the crags and such. Has a toilet :0

Activities: Sport climbing (mainly) and canyoning and then there are plenty of waterfalls and waterholes to have some rest days at if the weather is as hot as is predicted... 

Experience required: Since this is going to be predominantly a sport climbing trip, being able to lead belay and climb is highly desired, there is a chance to train up before the trip but outdoor climbing experience will increase your chances of making it on the trip significantly. Also, being an active member is also important, as this trip is a nice chance for everyone who comes to a lot of AUMC trips to have a Summer trip all together :) Also, there are already a lot of people keen so priority will be given to those that are keen but also active.

Once we have got an indication of how many people/who is coming we will create a group chat and sort out all the nitty gritty (transport, gear etc.)
