For a break from the bigger hikes and the assignments, we'll be running a beginner hike at Sturt Gorge. Sturt Gorge is a beautiful gorge just south of Adelaide with cascades and a dam you can stand on top of. There are some stairs but the hike is relatively straightforward.

We'll meet inside the train station, and catch a 9:22 train to Flinders. The plan is to hike the river up the gorge to Flagstaff Hill before catching the bus back to Flinders Station and the city.

Members can also park a car at the trailhead (https://goo.gl/maps/rY96gmjpoJ5ZvrnH9 ) and meet us there at 10am. The bus takes us back there as well.

This is a completely beginner friendly hike, and a great way for new members to get their first taste of AUMC and meet other members.
