REGISTRATION

This is a beginner hike, which means you don't need any previous overnight experience to come along! We will be hiking a small amount each day (roughly 15km) with a completely filled hiking pack. If you have any questions either text me on Facebook (Ahmad Ali Mir) or text me on 0460 818 147 :) 

PRICE

There's a $10 park fee to book the campsite and if you need to borrow any of the club gear such as a tent or sleeping bag there will be a $5 gear use fee.

HIKE DETAILS + ITINERARY

We will meet at Hartley Building at 9:00 am and will leave Adelaide at 10am on Saturday, The plan is to drive to Salt Creek (first car shuffle point) and walk around 13 kms on saturday to an open campsite and camp there for the night and then on Sunday we walk the rest of the way to 42 Mile Crossing Campground (second car shuffle point) and head back to adelaide from there.

TRANSPORT

We can all carpool to Salt Creek , and will work out the details on a group chat later :)

WHAT TO BRING

It will be cold overnight so make sure that you bring nice warm clothing. If you are borrowing a tent from the club you will be sharing it with someone as it helps to share the tent weight. It is also best to share cooking stoves/ maybe pots too. Below is a good packing list if you need it:
