Hello AUMCers!

We're doing a 28 kilometre hike on the Pioneer Women's Trail on Sunday 23 October. The pioneer women and children who took this path to bring their goods to market started their hike at midnight! We'll start at the more reasonable time of 8:30 AM at Stop F1 Grenfell Street, to catch the 8:40 bus to Hahndorf and walk from there back to Glen Osmond, catching the bus back from there to the city in the evening. We'll have lunch in Stirling on the way but it's still best to bring extra snacks to keep your energy up.

This is an intermediate hike as it's 28km long and has some hills, and the weather may not be perfect. Reasonable fitness and previous hiking experience would be good things to have.

Bring:

- Water (1-2L recommended)

- Snacks!

- Rain jacket
