One of the reasons why lacrosse is such an interesting sport is because it combines a number of different sports into one. Concepts for sports like ice hockey, field hockey, football, and basketball can all be seen when watching a single lax game. The skills are easy to pick up so don’t be scared off if you have never played before. We have a large influx each year of new players so you won't be alone. We also welcome experienced lacrosse players at all levels.
Like many others, being part of a team is incredibly important in a game like lacrosse. It allows players to realize the importance of unifying and working together toward one goal. Being part of a team allows you the opportunity to deal with different personalities, and who knows, maybe even become a leader yourself.
Although our club is small, we field two men's and women's senior grade teams, in both divisions 1 and 2. We are a very social club, so the fun doesn’t stop off-field! Our club holds regular pub nights, barbecues and an annual pub crawl, fun-run and intervarsity competition against Melbourne University Lacrosse.
