The Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) teaches resuscitation and surf rescue skills, enabling candidates to become water safety for the Nipper Program.
The SRC is a 21.5 hour course.
Candidates will be required to purchase the Public Safety and Aquatic Rescue 35th Edition (PSAR35) Training Manual which is electronic and accessible on a mobile device (visit Click here for details) - cost $10.

Please follow steps 1 - 4 below before continuing to the online SRC registration.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) Members aged 18 years and older must obtain or update a WWCC - for further details please click here.
- Apply and Pay for Membership. Please refer to the email sent.
- Receive your Membership Confirmation from Anglesea SLSC - this will be emailed to you once we have finished processing your membership/s.
- Download and complete a Timed Swim Form. You must complete a 200m swim in under 5 minutes, not 9 minutes as stated in the form.

- Timed Swim Form (a completed form needs to be uploaded. Please scan or take a photograph of the completed form to upload).
