Athlete Talent Pathway

Artistic Swimming Australia (ASA) has developed an athlete talent pathway that details the progression for any artistic swimmer from entering the sport through Performance Clubs, Emerging, Youth, Junior squads, and its Olympic - Team Australia. Efforts are made to provide opportunities for as many athletes as possible as early in the athlete’s development within the athlete talent pathway. As athletes increase in age and ability, opportunities and squad places are fewer, and expectations are higher. The diagram below offers a representation of the broader High-Performance system. |
