Welcome to the 2024/2025 ASA Season!
We’re excited to have you with us for the upcoming Australian Scooter Association season! Whether you're returning or joining for the first time, we’re thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant scootering community.
About Our Competitions
Our competition series is designed to inspire passion for the sport, encourage skill development, and create thrilling experiences for riders of all levels. Here's what to expect this season:
-
Qualifier Events: Riders will compete in divisions based on age and skill level, ensuring fair competition for everyone. Each state hosts a set number of qualifiers, and riders must participate in a minimum number of events to qualify for their State Titles.
-
State Titles: Riders will compete in their home state for a chance to advance. The top 10 riders from each age category will qualify for the ASA National Championships, held in Queensland in 2025. Riders can only compete in their own State's Title event.
-
Out-of-State Qualifiers: Traveling? You can attend qualifiers in other states, and they’ll count toward your advancement to your State Titles.
Registration Policies
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please note the following:
-
Registration Fees: All fees must be paid before your first qualifier. If you face difficulties with payment, please reach out to your State Representative for confidential, case-by-case assistance.
-
ASA Policies: All participants are required to review the ASA Code of Conduct, Rider Guidelines, Concussion Policy, and Bullying & Harassment Policy before registering. Any violations during the season may result in disqualification. We expect all riders to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship and respect both on and off the skatepark.
-
Event Attendance: Riders must check in at each event during the designated sign-in times, which may vary. We’ll keep you informed via Instagram and Facebook.
Parent Involvement
We welcome and encourage parent participation! Whether you're assisting with events or cheering from the sidelines, your involvement is invaluable to our riders and the community.
We look forward to a fantastic season of competition, growth, and camaraderie. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Let’s make this season one to remember!
Warm regards,
