PRIVACY INFORMATION STATEMENT

I understand Calisthenics Victoria (the organisation), together with my club, will use the data I have provided in my registration for the administration of the sport of calisthenics, in accordance with the objectives of the organisation and club. I acknowledge that the information will be held in confidence by the organisation and club and that I can access any personal information at any time if required. By agreeing to Privacy Statement I also acknowledge that if the required minimum information (name, date of birth and 1 form of valid contact details) is not provided, I am not permitted to participate in any aspects of the sport of calisthenics.

 

MEMBERSHIP COMMUNICATIONS

Please note that by registering with Calisthenics Victoria and your club you will be opted in to all membership communications. Please unsubscribe from the first communication if you do not wish to continue to receive these. 

 

POLICIES

As a member of Calisthenics Victoria I acknowledge that I am bound by the Calisthenics Victoria constitution and member policies and procedures, copies of which can be found on the Calisthenics Victoria website. 

 

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

The Calisthenics Victoria Registration fee is a non-refundable fee. This fee represents the costs involved in administering the sport and for relevant insurance cover for all Calisthenics Victoria Members.  

Applications for a refund under extraordinary circumstances must be made in writing, stating the reason for a requested refund, and including any additional documentation to support the claim. Requests can be emailed to admin@calisthenics.asn.au. All applications will be considered, and the decision made by Calisthenics Victoria will be final. 

Any refund of a Calisthenics Vicotria Registration fee in these circumstances will include an administrative fee which will be deducted before the registration fee is refunded. In the event that a refund is processed, this amount will be refunded to the card on which payment was initially made.  

 

CODES OF CONDUCT

As a member of Calisthenics Victoria I acknowledge that I am required to abide by Calisthenics Victoria's codes of conduct applicable to me copies of which can be found on the Calisthenics Victoria website.

BEHAVIOUR CODE

We believe that all members attending our classes need to be in an environment, which is supportive, consistent, and where appropriate limits have been set. We expect that all members, Parents and coaches will treat others as they expect to be treated themselves.

• Be punctual and properly prepared for classes

• Speak politely to other team members, coaches and parents

• Treat all members including parents, children and coaches of the club with courtesy, respect and consideration

• Allow others to work and learn without interference

• Do our work to the best of our ability

• Be good sports and cooperate with others

CLUB RULES

ALWAYS REPRESENT OUR CLUB WITH PRIDE

• Behave in a safe, responsible and courteous manner when attending class, competitions and other Calisthenics related events

• Be able to win and lose with dignity at competitions

• Follow instructions of coaches, parents and children who are helping you

• Be polite and courteous to visitors to the club

COOPERATE AND BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS

• Treat others with respect, never teasing or harassing them

• Be kind and helpful to others

• Think and care about other peoples feelings

• Respect and celebrate the talents of others 

• Be a good sport

• Allow other team members to do their best without distracting them

• Accept responsibility for the way you behave

PARENT/SPECTATOR BEHAVIOUR

Arden Crescent Rosanna Uniting Church Calisthenics Club Inc will not tolerate any member or parent making comments about, or verbally abusing other members either direct or indirectly. It is the sole responsibility of the coach to direct members during training. 

CONSEQUENCES

Coaches and/or members of the committee confronted with unacceptable behaviour will apply the following consequences:

• A warning or reminder 

• Conference with coaches or committee members 

• Oral or written apologies

• Parents contacted if necessary (For younger members under 18 years)

• Suspensions from classes

As a member/parent of Arden Crescent Rosanna Uniting Church Calisthenics Club Inc, I acknowledge that I am required to abide by the Club Behaviour Code.
