If you join as a full member (half price over winter), the club boats can be rented for $20 a day (under certain rules). There are usually old boats to buy for under $1000.  Or you might join as a Winter member (until end September).

Whatever, the central Melbourne location makes for a social and relaxing time. Tea and instant coffee is $1, and the beer $5-6 a stubbie. Our key focus is to welcome you.
