South Island Secondary Schools Champs 2024 race results

Aoraki Development team (including our Events and Equipment teams) finished off the Schools 2024 Dragon Boat season with a busy day of racing at Lake Rua (part of the Lake Roto Kohatu group), off Sawyers Arms Rd, Harewood.

The event brought together students for a day of racing over 250m sprints, a 500m Turns Race, and a 1,000m “Chase-race". To break the day, teams were invited to bring their best chant/ waiata/ haka to challenge their fellow students.
