This is an event that is organised and run by PFL, Paddle For Life Club.
PFL markets the event, provides most of the on-shore logistics including Trophies or prizes. PFL charges entry fees, organises First Aid and (as required) Commentator, Drone, food and coffee vendors, entertainment and so on.
Aoraki Dragons supports this event, and under a Memorandum of Understanding Aoraki provides equipment and sets up the race course, and runs the Finish Line results recording, and safety/chase boat (for a nominal fee).
