The Spring Regatta replaces which was historically known as the Cobb Web Blast event.

The Spring Regatta was first introduced in 2020, and we were very lucky to continue with this event despite moving into Covid alert level 2 the morning of the event. 

In 2020 this event was held at Lake Pegasus. Due to ongoing concerns regarding water quality, this was moved to the Avon for the 2021 season, then Lake Rua in 2022, and in Mairangi Lake in 2024.
