The ANU Swimming & Water Polo Club prides itself on acceptance and inclusion. We aim to create an environment that is safe, accessible, and welcoming to all. In alignment with Water Polo Australia’s guidelines of community inclusion, ANU Owls celebrates the diversity of sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, intersex status, ability, skill, cultural background, ethnicity, location, religious and political beliefs. Our club aims to foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment, free of harassment and discrimination for LGBTQI+ participants.
ANU Owls along with Water Polo Australia, support the participation of transgender and gender diverse people participating in community water polo in accordance with their gender identity, irrespective of the sex they were assigned at birth and allows them to do so in a safe and inclusive environment.
