Angels Softball Club was started in 1997 with 2 teams and over time has demonstrated extensive growth. Angels has become one of Mackay's fastest growing club since it's existence. The current participation level in the Mackay Softball Association is:

- B Grade Ladies
- U16
- U14
- T Ball
- Rookie Ball
The Club has accumulated a sound asset base with thousands of dollars worth of equipment which is at the disposal of their members. Angels have shown a strong presence in the Mackay Softball Association with their attaining grandfinal status in all grades over the past 24 years.
The Club prides itself on the strong teamwork from their Coaches, Scorers, Umpires and our Volunteers mentoring and coaching from grassroots to representative levels. Angels Softball actively encouranges and supports their members in upskilling to achieve accreditation within all avenues of softball.
Due to the extensive support, coaching and mentoring Angels Softball Club has seen many players achieve, local, state and national representation. Angels Softball Club was also the recipent of the Softball Queensland Inc Club of the Year Award in 2013, taking out top spot in our State.
Angels has a strong focus on junior softball however more numbers are needed across our region to ensure future softballers are being prepared for our game representation at the Olympic Games, World Tournaments, National and State Titles. Our future relies on our grassroots programs along with our accredited staff and generous volunteers.
As all sporting bodies, Angels Softball Club heavily relies on sponsorship to assist in meeting their operational obligations. Words can't really convey how proud I am to have worn Australia across my chest, a part of the Aussie Spirit. Our Olympic campaign may be over, but regardless of the result, it's important to recognise all the positives and how far we've come to get our sport back on the Olympic stage after 13 long years out. There are countless people who made this possible and contributed to the cause. Forever grateful for this journey I've been on for so long now. Some of the best times of my life!!! However it's time for me to step away and look to the next chapter of life! I'm extremely humbled for everyone's kind messages and support over this last couple of months!
