Welcome to AM United Hockey Club

Background

AM United Hockey Club has a strong history in the Barossa Valley Hockey Association. In 2003 Angaston Hockey Club and Moculta Hockey Club combined forces after running as independent clubs for 20+ years each.

AM United takes pride in being a family orientated club. With over 100 members from the Barossa Valley and surrounding regions, as well as a number of players from the city, AM United welcomes players new and old. No matter your age, experience or skill level, there is a spot for you and your family at AM United!  

Competition

AM United has successfully filled competitive teams in all junior competitions, as well as Men’s and Women’s teams in the senior competition. Recently AM United has had players selected in regional teams and in state teams. Senior players have also successfully been named in BVHA Team of the Year and polled highly in the BVHA Best and Fairest count.

Development

AM United is committed to developing outstanding hockey players, coaches and umpires as well as catering for those that want to have fun while getting fit. A number of hockey development programs will be on offer throughout the year for members interested in developing their personal hockey skills or for those that want to learn to umpire or coach. 

Facilities

2014 was the last year that AM United trained or played at its long time home at Moculta Recreation Park. We have since moved completely to the international standard artificial turf at Stockwell Recreation Park.
