All Stars club was founded by Betty Brosnan in the 1968-69 season. It was originally formed as a kindred team of the Leopards Basketball club. Hence, the name was originally Leopards All Stars. The club started with only an A grade side and the original members being Betty Brosnan, L Penfold, M. Nelson, Judy Flanagan, Eileen Flanagan, Alice Zeibell, B. Kratzman, A. Lobwein, Marie Flanagan, S. Power, and K. Gross. In 1969-70 season they were joined by a Junior team, the members of which were S. Rigby, E. Pukallus, Z. Geisel, M. Gold, S. Flanagan, B. Tracey, V. Schmidt, S.Hamilton and M. O'Reagan.
The club uniform has remained in its original blue with red and white trim since its formation. In the 1989-90 season, changes were made to bring the Juniors into the same playing shirts as the Seniors and the A Grade side were able to play in shorts.
All Stars have produced many players that have represented their State and or been named in Queensland Talent Squads or Developement Teams, namely Eileen Flanagan, Jodie Richardson, Tricia Sibraa (Bichel), Linda Finlay, Karyn Houston (Nielsen), Sindy Nuss, Colleen Bichel, Kylie Russell, Leonie Atwell, Janelle Sperling, Leah Mallory, Sue Browning, Joanne Houston, Tracee Hoyling, Jaye Young, Kelly Ireland, Peta Baines, Judy Nielsen, Graham Nielsen, Anna Hansen, Kellee Baines, Samantha Gierke.
The club has been fortunate to have a large number of hard working executive members, coaches and parents over the years. With the talent that this club has in their Junior ranks, it can look forward to many more successful years as these players reach their full potential.
