New Players

Hello and welcome to Albury Comets Softball Club. We are the oldest and most succesful club in Softball Albury/Wodonga with over 60 years of proud history.
If you are new to our club, you will be joining a club that will provide you with the best coaching and learning opportunities that will enable you to become the best player you can be.

For all new players, the following information should be helpful to you starting with us:

Uniforms

Our uniforms are sourced through Embroidery Creations, 426 Wilson St Albury. Ph: 6041 2988.
You will need to order a playing shirt and shorts from Embroidery Creations.
Playing caps can be ordered through the club for $20. See Lesley, Jarrod, or one of your coaches at training as we should have some available for purchase. Update# there willl be caps available at the First game on Satuyrday 14th October

We are incorporating knicks into our Senior Womens teams this year. Please contact Brett on 0407 916 763 to discuss your needs in this regard. They will need to be ordered so please get in well before the season starts.
You will also need red (football) socks which can be purchased at sports stores.
  #update there will be knicks available for hire at $20 for the season at the first game on 14th October, prior to the Senior game commencing

Embroidery creations should have shirts and shorts either in stock or they will order it in for you. Payment is made direct to them.

Our club has bats for you to use if you don't have your own. 
We ask that you supply you own Glove and helmet.

Registration

Registration is open You can register at https://www.revolutionise.com.au/alburycomets/registration/ (or find the registration tab on this website. 

All players must be registered BEFORE taking the diamond, so be sure to remember to register.
There is an option to register as a causal player. If this is your preference we recommend the 4-week membership as this will enable you to play more than one game. To play more than 4 games, or to play any finals, you will need to upgrade to a full membership. Upgrading will only charge the difference.
If you are planning to play most of the season, save yourself the hassle and don't worry about the casual membership.

For families of 3 or more, there is a discounted rate available. Please email the club with this request and we will send you the link for this rate.

We also promote ACTIVEKIDS vouchers. If you want to use one please get your voucher from Service NSW and let us know the details so we can put it into the system.

Training

Our training is at Jelbart Park each Thursday night for all grades, commencing Thursday 14th September.

Behind the pool on Nowland Ave. Park on the gravel carpark and come across the footbridge
Under 12's train at 4:30pm. All other grades train from 5:30pm

Games

Senior women's, and juniors play on Saturdays

Under 14's (mixed) 9:00am - 10:30am
Under 12's & Under 16's (both mixed) 11:00am - 12:30pm

B Grade (women) 2:pm- 3:20 pm at Jelbart Park
A Grade (women) 4:30pm -6:pm Home venue Springdale Heights Baseball Field/ Away venue French's Fields, Wagga

The men's competition is played on Wednesday evenings, 6:15pm - 7:45pm
