Adelaide Pickleball Club

Adelaide Pickleball Club is this new sport's first club in South Australia, created in 2021.

At Adelaide Pickleball Club, our aim is to develop competitive players and provide a playing environment that develops a high standard of play.

If you already know pickleball, our club is the place to hone your skills. You can enjoy mostly doubles play, and occasional singles play, with a range of different formats and partners to sharpen your pickleball in competitive play.

We play three sessions each week based on skill level.

Advanced Skill Level. Thursday nights. Session is for players with a club rating of 3.75 or higher. Play is at Mile End Netball Stadium with four indoor courts, 6.30pm to 8.30pm from 7 March until 28 March 2024. Then returns on 16 May 2024. From 4 April to 25 April the club's advanced players are playing in Season 2 of the Adelaide Pickleball League.

Intermediate Skill Level. Tuesday nights at Pulteney Grammar School with four indoor courts. 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Session is for players with a club rating of 3.3 to 3.749.

Lower Skill Level. Wednesday nights at Pulteney Grammar School with four indoor courts. 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This session is for players with a club skill rating below 3.3.

All playing sessions require bookings as there is a 20-player cap on each session. Members register for sessions at our Events page.

Make sure you select the session that matches your skill level - one session per player per week. Use the Pickleball SA Player Rating Guide to assess your own skill.

Each two-hour session is $7 for club members, $10 for Pickleball SA (or PAA) members, and $13 for non-members. Fees are collected using EFTPOS only at sessions. Playing equipment is provided with this fee.

Club membership is $80 (under 65 years) or $70 (65+ years) for 12 months.

Adelaide Pickeball Club is currently closed to new members as we have reached capacity. Existing members can renew at our Membership page.

In May 2024 the club is expecting to announce additional venues/sessions allowing membership to re-open.

Adelaide Pickleball Club travels to interstate and national tournaments, so join us if you want to play in competitive level tournaments.

If you are looking for a session in a different location, or time, or more social, start out at a session run by Pickleball SA:
